I found Mr Kumar very pleasant and easy to talk to. He explained what my future treatment would or could be in the coming weeks in understandable language. I felt very re-assured and the ladies that were also present were extremely pleasant and helpful. I came aware with the knowledge that my breast cancer was treatable and the operation had gone very smoothly.

Mr Kumar is a first-class surgeon. I feel that he gave me the utmost care with his professionalism and extraordinary talent . I had absolutely no fear or anxiety of undergoing surgery with him or under Miss Aitken under his guidance. This was due to his absolute care explaining carefully the details of my cancer, he made things very clear and his manner explaining my situation was careful and I thought caring. Basically I trusted him with my life. I appreciate the steps he took whilst I was under anaesthetic using his judgement which proved to be totally correct Enabling him to guide me to the next part of my journey of treatment. Meeting with him yesterday left me feeling very positive once again explaining carefully the outcome of my surgery, the reasons for my discomfort and Pointing me in the right direction for future care. I also really appreciate the fact that he visited me during my first surgery both before my operation and straight after to explain what he had done during the surgery. This made me feel very cared for and important with the hospital system. I am able to see that for him his job is more of a vocation and he aims to provide quality of service. I am extremely grateful for all the help this wonderful, lovely gentleman has given me and know that anyone else who is treated by Mr Kumar Will be given the best care. We in Suffolk are blessed to have Mr Kumar in our midst.

Mr Ku m ar's manner inspires great trust and confidence in him. Prior to my surgery he took time to explain in detail my likely course of treatment, ensuring that I fully understood this. Following surgery, he explained exactly what he had done, and advised me how I should look after my "wound" in the short and long term. He explained my radiotherapy and medication plan and set this plan in motion. I cannot speak too highly of his courtesy, professionalism, patience and skill. I would not hesitate to recommend him and his team

My husband and I always found Mr Kumar very helpful, approachable and genuine. I particularly appreciated his way of explaining things by using pictures and diagrams. He listened very well and we didn't feel rushed at all. He enabled us to make good decisions about surgery etc. We would definitely recommend him to others.
